The Academy
Art isn't just something you learn. It's something you discover.
About Academy of Art & Craft Our journey in art began in 2012 at Gurkha Basti Drawing School of Academy of Art & Craft, with a passion for drawing and a vision to help students discover and develop their artistic abilities. Over the years, we have grown with the support and trust of our students and their families. Today, we continue our journey with our branch at Krishnanagar, Padma Pukurpar, offering a creative space where students can learn, explore, and express themselves through art. Explore Your Creativity Whether you are a beginner or an aspiring professional artist, our classes provide opportunities to explore Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, and Clay Modelling through structured learning and practical guidance. We teach technique without draining curiosity. Discipline without silencing play. The academy is local, intimate, and serious about making.

The studio
A room in Krishnanagar, and a practice that travels.
North light, long tables, a sink stained with colour. The campus is modest by design: enough space to work, enough quiet to look. Workshops, exhibitions, and visiting artists expand the studio into the city.
